Plantain Porridge

by Suzette Germain
(Cape Coral, FL 33904)

2 green plaintain
2 carnation milk (canned)
4-6 cinnamon sticks
sugar

Cut both ends of plantains. Cut plantain in half. Take the half of plantain & cut one line about 1/8 of the bottom end.

It should be like four cubes. Then slice the plantain.
They should be cubes. Do that to the other halves of the remainder of plantain.

Place in blender and water.

It should be more water than plantain when in blender. You might have to repeat this process depending on the size of your blender.

After blending pour into a strainer that is over a pot. Stir until all liquid is gone.Keep this process until completed.

Add carnation milk to pot & stir. make sure heat is on low.

Add cinnamon sticks & sugar for taste. Go by your taste buds on the sugar.

Let simmer until a low boil.

Great with bread on the side

- Many many thanks Suzette!
