1/2 kilo white wheat flour
1/2 kilo brown wheat flour
1 litre of water
1 eating spoon of salt
2 eating spoons of sugar
Vegetable cooking oil
-Mix the brown and white flour in a large bowl. Pour some cooking oil (about 1 table spoon)into the mixture.
-Add the sugar and salt to the water and stir till dissolved.
-Mix the flour and water and keep kneading with your hands adding a little water at a time till the dough is firm but soft.
-Cover the dough with a clean kitchen cloth and let it set for an hour.
- using your hands, cut out small fist sized balls from the dough and for each ball, roll it out using a rolling pin, then fold it into a log strip.
- roll this strip into a spiral so that the piece of dough acquires a round shape.
-Using the rolling pin,to roll out this dough into a circle shape of about 2cm thickness and 20cm diameter.
place this dough on a previously heated pan cook with a little oil about 1 eating spoon till brown spots appear. Turn it and do the same for the other side.
