Liberian Pepper Soup and FuFu

Liberian Pepper Soup and FuFu

Ingredients
- 1/2 onion
- 4-5 habanero peppers
- 3-4 okra
- 1 bitter ball
- 3 kittely
- Enough water to cover the meat
- 3-4 Maggie cubes
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 tomato ( optional )
- Add any meat you want Ex: fish, chicken, dry meat, crab
- Box of fufu or any fufu you have.

Preparation
1. add any meat you want to a pot.
2. Blend onion and peppers, and add to the pot.
3. Add enough water to cover the meat
4. Add 2 Maggie cubes, black pepper, and seasoned salt.
5. Add bitterball, kittely & okra.
6. Cook the soup for 20 mins. Taste it, if you think it needs more Maggie cubes add 1 or 2.
7. Let the soup cook until it's half way dry. When it half way dry it's ready.
8. When the soup is ready, remove the okra. mash it with your spoon, or in a blender.
9. If you're eating the soup with fufu, put a small amount of okra and beneseed on top the fufu. As you're eating, mix the okra and beneseed in the soup.
10. You can also eat the soup with rice.
11. Enjoy!


How to make beneseed

Toast 1 cup of saseme seeds in a frying pan till its brown.
Next add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil and small salt.
Blend it into a paste.
